Please note that sometimes in the manufacture of our mirror blanks, the surface of the glass can acquire a few surface scratches or minor edge chipping which will in no way effect the quality of your finished mirror. Any surface scratches residing on the business side of your blank will be ground out in the first "wet" of your grinding session, and the edge chips on any blank we ship will be ground off in your first edge beveling session. Any blanks deemed to have more than slight cosmetic issues will be placed on our clearance mirror blanks page. All the mirror blanks we sell, regular and clearance, must pass our internal strain testing before being shipped, so you are guaranteed a mirror blank which will make a wonderful telescope mirror!
